Christian Gonzalez-CB-Oregon-6’1”-Top 15-96

Size speed guy that plays well with contact on the receiver. Similar prospect to Carlton Davis with more deep coverage speed. Not afraid to mix it up. Gonzalez has shutdown potential which will may sneak him into the top 10.

Devon Witherspoon-CB-Illinois-6’0”-181-1st-94

High compete level, hitter that plays downhill. Witherspoon has the best temperament for the position which is “Get off my lawn”. Perfect for a cover two scheme where he can get help deep and do his dirty work at the line. He’ll be a guy that his team loves and the opponents fear. Not a true shutdown coverage corner, but he should be a team captain by year 3.

Brian Branch-CB/S-Alabama-6’0”-190-1st-93

Springy, fluid hips, plays inside out. Can be impact player in the slot and a great nickel player. Budda Baker or Tyrann Mathieu upside, although Branch doesn’t match their level of wow plays.

Joey Porter Jr.-CB-Penn State-6’3”-193-1st-92

Tall rangy cornerback (34” arms!), ideal for cover 3 schemes. Has room to grow his game, and if he takes after his namesake dad, he’ll continue to develop. His upside, with #2 starter level floor.
